Osseo is nestled in the heart of rural Wisconsin, located in the northeastern corner of Trempealeau County at the crossroads of Interstate 94 and U.S. Highways 53 and 10. With easy highway and interstate access to Eau Claire, Madison and Minneapolis, we are in a perfect location to maintain our rural heritage and still be a progressive city that provides growth opportunities.
Our beautiful City of Osseo is a tourist destination for Trempealeau County. Osseo’s downtown is filled with small town charm and exudes our Scandinavian heritage. Unique gift, antique, quilting, and coffee shops live downtown as well as the Norske Nook Restaurant and Bakery, famous for its homemade pies. Osseo has hospitality around every corner with numerous hotels, campgrounds, and restaurants. Osseo is also a growing commercial center with much industry, a full service hospital, a volunteer fire department, a library, and many active churches.
Osseo is full of community and recreation areas. Our high school facility features an auditorium and community fitness center open to everyone. Recreational activities including two city parks, a baseball park, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a nine-hole golf course. Osseo’s Lake Martha, bordered on the south by Stoddard Park, is the perfect place to fish, cool off on a hot summer day.
